I hardly ever rented something in London. To be honest never. Well, because I am foreigner and London is a closed market, serving only needs of it's citizens and those with refugee and asylum seekers official status. I am neither of them.
Moreover, I had recently discovered, London is not only closed market, it also has it's own closed market in Europe, providing services at every country at planet Earth for it's network of foreigners and refugee asylum seekers, seeking luck and fortune in U.K. I am also neither of them.
My experience in renting was only based on observation the environment of the rented spaces and the outcome from each and every of the rented accommodation. Well, solely, I have only experience in U.K. being at shared accommodation, because I am a foreigner and London is closed market.
Most of my opportunity to find myself accommodation ended at the can, but sorry not you, we are looking for. Ignoring the requests, while contacting the agencies, ignoring the messages being left at the search engines websites, which in fact, only passing the message to the advertiser of the property. Rarely search engine, manipulates with the data of the data entries, mostly coming from Real Estate Agencies, unless being promoted as part of no real estate deal, directly from the owner excluding third party additives.
Yes, I never had a luck to find myself a home in London or anywhere else in U.K. I was even rejected to stay at Hotels during Covid-19 time. I received a tag, I am not a Key worker. Based on such tagging I had been rejected to stay at every hotel in U.K. for almost a year. The only pass get away from not a key worker I had after a British citizen booked for me a hotel on my name. But to keep it up to misery level, I was even rejected to change the room, demanding a reason for my request to change the room. My statement: I do not feel comfortable staying in the room I was checked in, can I have another one, was rejected. No, I had never received an apology from a manager, which is standard procedure over under competent staff; while having a manager away and them coming back in OMG mode, what had you had done during my absence? It was hard for me to believe it is all happening in U.K., where I was simply not British Citizen neither refugee or asylum seeker, only being uninvited guest from Europe coming not from British only network.
My misfortunes had not stopped there in seeking accommodation, while my family was ready to pay almost any price to find for me a place to live and work. So we did, we had been paying for years, wr had been paying for months, we had been paying for days, we had been paying for weeks, consistently paying for rent of someone else's misfortunes only.
My last rented accommodation was from Chinese student in U.K., to whom based on the outcome I had seen, life is a bit more fortunate than to a professional from Europe with some members of the family living in U.K. The price of a tiny room in a small town near by London was price of entire flat, based on Estate Agencies offers in the town. Who knows maybe Chinese have their own overpriced homes.
Staying at such place got me into professional dispute, over the copyrights. The student was of fashion and was an art teacher, which at first I had found as a great opportunity to be renting a place from a colleague, who has the same interests. But hardly the student understood, that I am coming from a world where only British citizens allowed at Britain, not uninvited European guests. Hardly I understood that it was not a rent, but rather a tag trap. The agency, through which I had rented an accommodation had been haunting me for almost a year, after I moved out, regardless we paid for a month of renting a small room, because I needed somewhere to live as it was the only offer given to me in U.K. I never had any intentions to still or invade Chinese students in London properties. Nevertheless, it got into very high demand towards of all my copyrights of design, arts and fashion. I am still hearing the echo: design is not yours!
I had became very suspicious with experience I had been having in U.K. Because, simply I am not wiling sorting out disputes over hackers requests representing a serious brand, to explain my point of view over the same: I didn't like it and I think it is overpriced. But thank you my karma, it had brought me to not there, but to already competing future colleague.
Currently, I am living in the brand new build accommodation, no one, not at least one person lived in the flat before. All was brand new, untouched, unworn, created to enjoy life at the highest possible standards provided at the affordable prices. Well, not really that affordable. Because it practically gives absolutely nothing. It drains all the energy, swapping everything with repeated scratched LP of someone else's death. Strangely, at brand new builded building with brand new energy, brand new water pipes and entire system being build using only finest possible building materials, living at such building was nothing but hell, extremely old energy taking over, loud ghosts shouting repeatedly its LP over and over again. Absolute psycho. Not at least one time the windows at the outside had been washed and it had been a year. Inside the building the building society, which builded up the building while also being the owners, takes care of the building itself, somewhat keeping up with the basic standards, at least cleaning weekly. The energy level being given in the building at least to me, which I am only a visitor, not to mention to the tenant, is very expensively cheap. It is very surprising to be at first tenancy in such abandoned mind of level energy dead aggressive abusive man tenancy.
Whom had the accommodation had been rented from? And why for a year it forced me even as only a visitor to be focusing on sorting problems of I don't like it it's someone else's else?
Instead of providing the most remarkable experience in brand new, untouched, unworn, using only the finest building materials tall modern building. I got the most awful living in London experience, ever.
Probably, while building it, a European mind far away from British only allowed was used or mind of abused refugee or downgraded asylum seeker or another tyranny of unwanted at their own home elderly.
Most of my blessings were used to resist the stream of negativity, waisting my love on resisting some else's bad, which has nothing to do with me. It mostly feels as after divorce state, when you feel disappointed that all of your beautiful time had been waisted on covering someone else's else.
What I could recommend to prevent such experience in the future?
Good luck readers and Great luck at Greater London. May your love be stronger that the loudest abuse demanding attention on unwanted time wasters.
